For Publix.Dress as nicely as you would to go to church. You may be only 14, and the company may be only Publix, but there are lots of jobs wih Publix that rise 'way above the lame level. Whatever job you get for your first job can lead to even better, higher paying, jobs down the line. Do the best you can when you land your first job. You never know who is watching, and who might offer you another job, a higher rung up the ladder of success. For housekeeping.You should wear something that shows that your ready to work not heels because your gonna be in the housecleaning business but more like sneakers. not clothes that show off a little more then needed. and something comfy and don't wear too much jewelry or chunky jewelery. For Chuck E. Cheese's. Dress like you're going to church. A white/pale blue/any professional colored button-down, collared shirt that's ironed and black or gray dress pants. Closed toe black shoes. For Starbucks. My friend works at Starbucks and she said that when she interviewed there, she wore this white polo shirt, a black sweater (because it was autumn), khaki pants with black shoes. It's Starbucks, so coming in looking like a U.S Senator is a little over the top. For cashier. Nice dress pants and dress shirt. just nice and spiffy. but not too dressy and not too casual. make sure you smile and look at their eyes when you talk. don't stutter and shake their hand nice and firmly, but not too rough.
