Recycling         

If you don't mind,you can get money for recycling. One of my friends used to get his gas money by collecting bottles and cans all over Southern California and turning them in for cash.He used to get money for newspapers, too.

To promote recycling, you will pay 5-10 cents for each bottle or can you buy, and can redeem your money if you turn it in to a recycling place. If you return every can or bottle you use, you will break out even. But, if you return extra bottles and cans you find in public places, you can actually make a pretty good profit.

Go to parks where people litter,you can find bottles,cans and newspapers there. Check around your area, there should be a scrap/recycling place nearby,if you want more bottles etc, you can go dumpster surfing.

In addtion,you can have this thing at the grocery store and they give you credit to the store for your recylced goods. you could rummage through trash to get recyclables. Maybe you could put a recycle bin where you work and then take the items.

However,you need to find scrap buyers who will give you money for the materials you collect. In my town, there are places to sell paper sorted by color, pasteboard and corrugated cardboard, and sorted scrap metals. If you don'd know where to sell,you can look it up in the phone book under recycling.
